The opera season of the Teatro Regio in Turin is the sign of a renewed artistic project that includes masterpieces written in the last four centuries.
Music Director Gianandrea Noseda, inaugurates the season on October 14 with Aida signed by Oscar-winning director William Friedkin This production of Aida boasts great voices able to better interpret the legendary characters of the impressive score: Kristin Lewis, Marco Berti and Mark S. Doss. The inaugural title is a tribute to the reopening of the Egyptian Museum.
The graduates actors of the School of the Teatro Stabile will make their professional debut in the summer of 2015 in a special project designed and built by the Teatro Stabile di Torino and the Egyptian Museum on the occasion of Expo Milano 2015.
In the courtyard of the Egyptian Museum, recently reopened after renovation, Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakepeare and Akhanaton, a text ever staged by Agatha Christie will be staged.

For next season, the Teatro Stabile di Torino offers a program that ranges from the great titles of the classical repertoire to contemporary drama, to the performances of the most innovative international dance. The season will see, between September 2015 and June 2016 63 shows scheduled in the program of the theater.

The new Theater season will be announced at 11 am with a press conference held online. The chosen title for this year is “Les Italiens” Chiedimi perché.
For over 30 years Assemblea Teatro has developed and strengthened the European and international vocation. The April 24, 2015 Assemblea Teatro has been recognized by the Ministero dei beni e delle attività culturali e del turismo as Center stage production.

The Museo Nazionale del Cinema is housed in the Mole Antonelliana, a symbol of the city. The exhibition takes the viewer from archeology of the cinema where you can experience experience the shows and optical devices that have marked some milestones for the birth of cinema.
All the main productions and the story of the cinema is shown in the galleries.
On the last floor the gallery of posters, arranged as a series of screens phantasmagorical and colorful , of different sizes, retracing the history of cinema.
Finally, climbing the dome, you can enjoy the view of the whole Turin with its distinctive skyline.

This exhibition showcases the artistic interpretations of the concept of the real, or of reality, across two centuries: from 1815 to 2015. For TUTTTOVERO, the curator has selected from the immense, diversified, and rich art heritage in Turin’s public and private museums, works that narrate how the world has changed, transforming us and the notion of reality in our culture and society.
The Fondazione Merz will offer works by Mario and Marisa Merz and will reflect on the artistic dialogue of these two artists, engaging their works with those by artists found in the three other Museums.
